I'm very excited to introduce one of my latest completed works "In the Beginning". Lions are such beautiful creatures and are often mentioned in the bible. The dove represents Jesus Christ and the waterfall represents His everlasting fountain of eternal life in Him. Whomever comes to drink from His well, will be filled. The fish in the water reminds me of Peter and the disciples, fisher of men. This painting is inspired by several different scritpures in the bible. God sent His only begotten Son as Lord and Savior. In the beginning, God was the Word and this scripture is mentioned in the bible to remind us of God's promises for all living beings. Some people have mentioned, while observing the lion couple, the symbolism of a God ordained marraige. The glistening glitter gives this painting a majestic and wonderous feeling.
