Pricing and Payment:

• Prices vary on size and medium

• I do offer weekly and monthly payment plans

• First payment is required to begin work

Progress and Timing:

• Progress on small commission work may take 1-3 months 

• Medium and large scale work may take 3-6 months or more 

• Longevity of process of paintings are subject to change

• I will send you progress photos to keep you updated

Originality/Sentimental Value:

I understand that your art work may have sentimental value. You have the option to keep your artwork personal and private. With this option, I will NOT PRINT any commissioned work with intentions to sell. I will preserve the personal value and originality of your art piece. Images of commissioned art work may be displayed but not for reproduction sale. If this is an option you would prefer, please include that in your email.

Return Policy:

  Prints: 

You can email art@artbydianacastillo.com, if you are not 100% satisfied with print. Returns and exchanges may take up to 30 days and are subject to a 25% re-stocking fee plus all shipping charges.

Original/Custom Artwork:

Payments are non-refundable for original and commissioned artwork. If a missed payment exceeds 3 months, artwork will be put back up for public purchase and prints maybe produced.

General Info:

​

I reserve the right to decline any commissioned artwork requests that may include sexual acts, nudity, profanity, violence, or that may go against my religious beliefs. All information between myself and client will be documented via email and direct messages and remain private and confidential, with the exception that it may lead to endangerment of myself, client, or another person. I have the right to make any changes on my website. I have the right to change prices on any prints, original, and commission art. I will not change prices if an agreement has been made and first payment has been processed. It is the client's responsibility to provide details and information concerning commissioned pieces. Changes to paintings cannot be made after varnish has been applied on final painting.

Rights and Usage:

​

The client has no permission to claim original or commissioned artwork as their own creation. If client specifically requested via email to keep sentimental and private preservation of commissioned art work it will not be reproduced. This request must have been made within 7 days of first payment. I have the rights to display original and commissioned art work on my website or my social media accounts. Commissioned art work maybe exempted from distribution, only upon client's request, as explained above. Client does not have permission to use my artwork for commercial-profiting purposes, only in the circumstance in which client has paid in full for a custom art piece, this maybe exceptional. For book illustrations, all terms are to be discussed and a signed contract will be required.
