I was inspired to paint this piece because roses are my favorite type of flowers. I love red roses but my favorite colors are turquoise and teal. People express their love for others by giving flowers and I just felt moved to paint one of my heart's small desires. Although it is not paired up with “Golden Blues”, if bought together they compliment one another perfectly.
