• You Carried Me in the Night Desert

• Art by Diana Castillo

• Mixed Media on canvas

• 16”x20”

• Frame not included

This painting continues the Footprints Collection, shifting from the bright desert day into the stillness of the desert night. Under a canopy of stars and endless sky, the footprints lead forward across the sand — a reminder that even in the darkest seasons, when clarity is gone and the path ahead feels uncertain, you are not walking alone.

The night desert reflects those moments when life feels quiet yet overwhelming, when fear creeps in, and when you cannot see what lies beyond the horizon. But here, God carries you through the silence. His presence shines like the stars — guiding, comforting, and reminding you that even in darkness, He is light.

This piece is for anyone navigating the unknown, offering hope that God’s strength is steady and His hand does not let go, even in the night.

Prayer:

Lord, when the night feels long and the wilderness surrounds me, remind me of Your light. Thank You for carrying me when I cannot see the way forward. Help me trust that even in the silence and shadows, You are near, guiding me step by step until dawn breaks again. Amen.
