This charcoal drawing had originally started as a sketch several years ago but I was so tuned in that I decided to go all the way with it to perfect my practice. I was learning to draw animals. I was pleased with the turn out so I decided to frame it. I think the gold frame brings out the horses and gives it an elegant yet rustic look.
