This mixed-media painting was inspired by a vision I received during a long road trip while praying and asking God what I should do about a job I was in at the time.
In the vision, I saw myself standing on the edge of a cliff, taking a leap and soaring through the sky alongside eagles. I understood that God was not telling me to literally jump from a cliff, but to take a leap of faith—to trust Him enough to leave what was familiar and believe that He would guide me into what was next.
I made the difficult decision to leave my job. The very next day, I felt God leading me to begin building my website. That step became the beginning of a new chapter—not only in creating art, but in sharing it with others and pursuing art as a career.
It was one of the most difficult yet encouraging seasons of my life. I didn't know exactly where the path would lead, but I learned that sometimes God doesn't reveal the entire journey. He simply asks us to trust Him with the next step.
Sometimes faith means taking the step before you can see the whole path. If God is calling you forward, don't let fear keep you standing at the edge. Trust Him, take the leap, and let Him teach you how to soar.
SOAR LIKE EAGLES
Isaiah 40:31 “But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
Proverbs 3:5–6 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
