Rooted on the Rock

This custom two-piece collection was created for a pastoral suite, with one large canvas designed for each of the his-and-hers spaces.
 
For his suite, Rooted on the Rock was created using a new palette of blue and silver, replacing the original gold and black tones of Rooted in Faith. The colors were selected specifically to coordinate with the design of the suite while maintaining the textured, layered character of the original piece.
 
The title Rooted on the Rock reflects the biblical imagery of building our lives upon a firm foundation. Inspired by Colossians 2:6–7, which reminds us to remain rooted and built up in Christ, “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him.”
 
Marvelously Pink was created as a larger interpretation of my original Pink Marble painting, using soft pink and marble-inspired tones to complement her suite. The flowing textures and layered details create an elegant statement piece while maintaining the organic movement of the original work.
 
Together, these two pieces bring distinct color palettes and artistic expressions into the pastoral suite while reflecting beauty, intentionality, and a foundation rooted in Christ.
