This is a two piece. It is acrylic paint on canvas, decorated with gold glitter, gold mica flakes, and Swarovski Crystals. This mixed-media painting of a pair of peacocks was inspired by God’s beautiful design for companionship and marriage. The peacock is often associated with beauty and majesty, and in this painting, the pair represents two individuals brought together with purpose—to walk beside one another, encourage one another, and grow together under God.
 
The title, A Suitable Helper, comes from the moment in Scripture when God saw that Adam should not be alone and declared: “The LORD God said, ‘It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.’” — Genesis 2:18 (NIV)
 
Marriage is more than finding someone to love. It is a covenant in which two people choose to honor God, serve one another, forgive, grow, and remain faithful through every season.
 
For those waiting for marriage, remember that your waiting is not wasted. Allow God to prepare your heart and trust His timing rather than settling for something that pulls you away from Him.
